These are very regal creatures, don't you think, the way they glide across the ocean floor. They also look very intelligent, and are very good at predicting the future, or so I've heard.

If you were a wild child, which animal would you like to adopt you? I would definitely choose bears; you get the run of the forest, to eat salmon, and to hibernate half the year snuggled up against all that fur. I really don't see a downside.

Continuing my current obsession with the sea... I'm at once both enthralled and frightened by these creatures. I think they are stunning; diverse and breath taking, strange and unearthly. But I do not want to touch one and I certainly don't want one wrapped around my leg!
